This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Application.
1. DEFINITIONS
- The term "Application" refers to the NoshLink Mobile Application and its related services.
- The terms "We", "Us", and "Our" refers to Noshable, LLC. and its subsidiaries and affiliates.
- The terms "You", "Your", "Yours" and "User" refer to the entity/person/organization using Our Application.
- The terms "Provider" and "Providers" refers to the entities that create Offers made available in Our Application.
- The terms "Offer" and "Offers" refers to the content displayed in Our Application on behalf of Our Providers.
2. INFORMATION TRANSMITTED TO US
- Public Key: During the registration process, a new Public-Private KeyPair is generated on the mobile device. The Private Key stays on the mobile device and is used to sign messages sent to the server. The Public Key is sent to the server where it is stored and used to verify the signature of messages sent by the mobile device.
- Device ID: Registering for NoshLink, by pointing a mobile device's camera at a Invite QR Code, sends the Invite Code to the server. In response, the server creates a Device ID, stores it, then sends the Device ID back to the Application for storage. Subsequent messages sent by the Application include the Device ID in a message signed with a Private Key. The Device ID is then used by the server to lookup the corresponding Public Key to verify the message as having been sent by mobile device holding the Private Key.
- Provider ID: The Provider ID is stored on the mobile device and sent with messages to the server.
- Images: Creating an Offer requires cropped versions of a User selected gallery image or a User taken photograph. These images are sent to the server where they are used to populate various Offer templates. The resulting Offer images are sent back to the mobile device for approval. If the Provider approves and publishes the Offer, the Offer images and the Offer's details are made available to the public.
- Invite Codes: QR Codes, sent to the Provider's place of business, encode a registration invitation in a link. When navigated, the mobile device is registered with Us. These link services are supplied by Firebase. See Firebase Dynamic Links for more details.
- Requests: Every request made to Our servers carries with it the source callers IP address. We log and retain the source callers IP address and the requested url indefinitely.
- Crash Logs: When the Application crashes, logs are collected capturing some details about the event. Firebase supplies these collection services. See Firebase Crashlytics for more details.
3. DEVICE ACCOUNTS
Once registered, the mobile device is associated with an account on the server. Clicking through Profile->Usage->Master Reset from the home screen will clear the Provider ID, Device ID, and Public-Private KeyPair from the mobile device and signal the server to cancel the mobile device's account.
4. COOKIES
We do not use cookies, sessions, or other User tracking technologies.
5. SENSITIVE INFORMATION
We do not collect sensitive personal information. Please do not send, upload, or provide Us any sensitive data.
6. SECURITY
We have implemented security measures designed to protect the personal information you share with Us, including physical, electronic, and procedural measures. Among other things, We monitor Our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. Regardless of the measures and efforts taken by Us, the transmission of information via internet, email or text message is not completely secure. We do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of Your personal information. We therefore encourage you to avoid providing Us or anyone with any sensitive information of which you believe its disclosure could cause you substantial or irreparable harm.
7. ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY
By using Our Application, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and agree to its Terms and Conditions.
